About Us

 Spotlight Sports Academy was founded by Charles Scott and Myles Easley two college graduates who together saw the need for something that was going to  truly benefit the youth as well as give them an opportunity to learn, perfect, and grow fond of  there favorite sport. Coach Scott played College Football at Chowan Universtiy  as well as  Arena  Football Leauge, and Semi-Pro Football.  Coach Myles has coached AAU basketball as well as leading teams to undefeated seasons and  championships. Together there vision is to make sure each child no matter what skill level gets a fair opportunity to learn and improve on there skills and talents. Often times kids go through life not knowing the correct way to to carry a football or properly do a lay-up. We want the kids to be able to take their games to the next level with confidence and fun. What Spotlight has came up with are some fundamental camps for football and  basketball to teach kids basic fundamental skills and  techniques to give them the confidence to continue their journey into the wide world of sports.We are a 501(c) tax exempt organization. We are looking for Sponsors that want to support positive programs that reaches out through out the Tri-cities, and are geared to creating positive outlets for youth ages 6-14. We represent integrity, hard work, drive, and most of sportsmanship.
